The brief was to enhance the UK brand voice by educating their consumers to better understand not only one of their top products, but more importantly how to use it. Through a series of “How to” videos, along with other digital marketing material such as e-commerce banners and emails we were able to produce a 360 campaign.
Working closely with the in-house photographer I was able to bring these 2 x ingredients to life. Application was also of key importance, how to apply the product and what areas of the face to focus on; these would be demonstrated through the video.
I lead on art direction by sourcing visual inspiration such as lifestyle shots, product flat lays, textures and colour themes. Clay and charcoal are two active ingredients which the client wanted to highlight.
The “How to” video explains in more detail how the product is applied and highlights the key benefits. I set the art direction and animation while also lending a hand on the video script, before handing over to the in-house animator to finish the final render.
